CountryMark is Indiana’s only American-owned oil exploration, production, refining and marketing company. One of CountryMark’s key assets is its refinery in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. The refinery processes 27,000 barrels of American crude oil per day and produces 410 million gallons of finished fuel products per year.

CountryMark’s fuel distribution channel begins with its privately owned pipeline, which transports refined fuels from its refinery to its four Indiana fuel terminals. CountryMark also owns a fuel terminal in Henderson, Kentucky. CountryMark terminals feature state-of-the art biodiesel and ethanol blending technology.

From the terminals, CountryMark’s proprietary fuels are wholesaled to a distribution channel of CountryMark member cooperatives located in and around the state of Indiana. CountryMark’s premium quality, flagship products include Super Dieselex-4, Premium Diesel-R, PLUS gasoline and CountryMark Advantage Lubricants.

In addition to oil refining and logistics, CountryMark is also in the oil exploration and production business. It operates more than 1,400 oil wells, which produce 3,500 barrels of crude oil per day from leases throughout the Illinois Basin.

CountryMark is a farmer-owned cooperative with roots that date back to 1919. It employs 489 people, and in 2011 was recognized as Indiana’s 6th largest private company.
